It now remains to be seen if other franchises like Granblue Fantasy Versus or Dragon Ball FighterZ will get the same treatment. The feature was available in Guilty Gear Strive at launch and contributed strongly to its popularity at launch. Rollback netcode has been a heavily requested feature for a number of Arc System Works’ fighters but the company implementing the same last year, starting with Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R. In the meantime, a public test for Central Fiction’s implementation starts tomorrow at 8 AM JST. BlazBlue: Central Fiction on PC will receive the feature in February 2022 while BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle on PS4 and PC will get it in 2022.
Arc System Works continues to add rollback netcode to a number of its older fighting titles, adding BlazBlue titles to the list.
